Qualifications
The development program for further vocational training closes the gap
between the university degree and the start of career for singers from
Costa Rica, who aspire to become professional opera singers.
At least once a year, auditions will take place, where we chose the candidates,
who deserve to be sponsored. Either they are still absolving a vocal training
or they already have completed their degree.The patronage lasts two years
and encloses
- lessons in Costa
Rica with international singing teachers and opera singers in the form
of master classes, workshops, seminars, etc.
- drama lessons (workshops)
- foreign language
teaching
- if necessary,
financial support in form of a scholarship
- free utilization
of the music archives of the foundationAfter the successful completion
of the development program
- travel expenses
for trips to Europe in order to do auditions
- placement of contacts
to European performing arts agencies, opera theatres, universities,
institutions for further vocational training, etc.
- free utilization
of the music archives of the foundation and support during the search
for notes
